Contact Form Submissions

When you submit the contact form on our website, we collect:

• Full name
• Work email address
• Company name (optional)
• Service of interest (optional)
• Message content

This data is processed via FormSubmit (formsubmit.co) and delivered directly to our inbox. We do not store form submissions on our own servers.

Analytics (Hotjar)

We use Hotjar to understand how visitors interact with our site. Hotjar may collect:

• Page interaction data (clicks, scrolls, mouse movements)
• Session recordings (anonymised)
• Approximate geographic location (country/city level)
• Device and browser type

Hotjar does not track personally identifiable information. See Hotjar's Privacy Policy. Hotjar is only loaded on HTTPS connections (not on localhost).

AI Chatbot (Groq / Llama)

Our AI chatbot sends your chat messages to Groq's API for processing. Groq uses the Llama 3.1 8B model. Chat messages are transmitted over HTTPS and are not stored by UP2CLOUD. Please review Groq's Privacy Policy for details on their data handling.

Data We Do Not Collect

• We do not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers for ad targeting
• We do not collect payment information
• We do not build user profiles or sell data to third parties

3. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), our legal basis for processing your data is:

• Legitimate interest — responding to enquiries you initiate via the contact form
• Consent — for analytics data collected via Hotjar (you may opt out at any time)

4. How We Use Your Data

• To respond to your enquiries and provide the services you request
• To improve the website experience based on aggregated analytics
• We do not use your data for unsolicited marketing without explicit consent

5. Data Sharing

We share data only with service providers strictly necessary to operate the site:

• FormSubmit — form submission delivery
• Hotjar — session analytics
• Groq — AI chatbot processing
• GitHub — site hosting (GitHub Pages)

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data with any third party for commercial purposes.

6. Data Retention

Contact form emails are retained in our inbox for up to 24 months for business correspondence purposes, then deleted. You may request early deletion at any time.

7. Your Rights

Under GDPR and applicable data protection laws, you have the right to:

• Rectification — request correction of inaccurate data
• Erasure — request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")

8. Cookies

Our site uses minimal cookies:

• Language preference — a localStorage key (up2cloud-lang) storing your chosen language. Not a cookie, not transmitted to any server.
• Hotjar cookies — session tracking cookies set by Hotjar (only on HTTPS). See Hotjar's cookie policy for details.

We do not use advertising cookies, social media tracking pixels, or cross-site tracking.

9. Security

All data transmitted to and from this site is encrypted via HTTPS (TLS 1.3). The site is hosted on GitHub Pages with enforced HTTPS. We do not process or store sensitive financial or health data.

10. Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for business professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under 16 years of age. If you believe a minor has submitted data via our form, please contact us for immediate deletion.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
